Starting 18 April, a night bus route N22 "Centrs–Lidosta (Centre–Airport)" will be introduced
To ensure transportation to and from Riga Airport during nighttime, starting 18 April, night service will be introduced on bus route 22 for the route “Centrs–Lidosta”. During the nighttime, the bus will operate under route number N22.
The N22 will run from the “Stacijas laukums” stop (on Marijas iela) to Riga Airport and from the airport back to the city centre. The bus will run daily at one-hour intervals:
- from the centre at 0.00; 1.00; 2.00; 3.00; 4.00
- from Riga Airport at 0.30; 1.30; 2.30; 3.30; 4.30
On the route from the city centre to the airport, the bus will follow route 22 and stop at the same stops. The bus will stop at these stops upon request.
Ticket prices and discounts on route N22 will be the same as on other Rīgas satiksme routes. Passengers will also be able to purchase tickets from the driver using a bank card.
With the introduction of route N22, changes will also be made to the schedule for bus route 22. The last trip from Abrenes iela to the Airport will be at 23.30, but from the Airport to Abrenes iela – at 0.10. Minor changes will also be made to certain departure times for bus 22 on weekends.
